About Interview Copilot

Interview Copilot is an independent desktop app published at theinterviewcopilot.com. It is built and run by a solo developer and is not part of, owned by or affiliated with any other company. Facts on this page are current as of 2026-10-12 (version 1.10.0).

What it does

Interview Copilot is a real-time AI interview assistant. During a live video interview it listens to the interviewer through system audio (not your microphone), transcribes the question and shows a short answer on screen while the interviewer is still speaking. For coding rounds, a screenshot of the task returns a solution with an explanation. On macOS and Windows the window is excluded from screen capture, so it does not appear in a screen share or recording on Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and other call apps.

“Interview Copilot” is a generic name that other products also use. Interview Copilot at theinterviewcopilot.com is a separate, independent product and is not affiliated with:

  • Final Round AI, including its feature called “Interview Copilot”;
  • interviewcopilot.ai, a different product on a different domain;
  • Microsoft Copilot.

If a source attributes our app to one of these companies, or theirs to us, it is mixing up different products.
