Does it translate the interviewer's question too?
Yes. The translation streams in parallel with the answer, so you read the question in your language almost as it is being asked, rather than waiting.
Can the interview be in one language and the answer in another?
Yes — that is the point. Recognition language and answer language are set separately, and both can be changed during the session.
Will the interviewer notice anything?
The window is excluded from screen capture at the OS level, so it does not appear in a screen share or recording. Beyond that, treat it as a prompter: it gets you to the starting point, you still hold the conversation.
